PERDIDO RIVER MEATS
Perdido River Meats began with something increasingly rare: a chance to build a brand from the ground up. Rooted in the Poarch Creek Indians' long agricultural history, the identity needed to feel authentic to its source without leaning on the usual farm-to-table clichés.
I helped shape the brand across identity, art direction, collateral, signage, apparel and the retail environment, creating a system that feels hardworking, local and built to last.
A shoot this detailed starts long before anyone picks up a camera. I developed moodboards and styling concepts for nearly two dozen cuts, building a visual language around dark slate, warm wood, cast iron, butcher paper, seasonings, sides and garnishes. The goal was to make even raw beef feel rich and appetizing without losing the honest, hardworking character of the brand.
Photographer Beau and food stylist Loren brought the experience and attention to detail to make it all work. Together, we turned a lot of planning into an extensive library of original photography that feels unmistakably Perdido River Meats.
