The Live at Five concert series showcases a diverse lineup of local and national acts. Each Spring and Fall, artists perform in the heart of downtown Fairhope, AL, gathering all kinds of people who are joined by a love of live music. Live at Five is a 501(c)3 charitable organization focused on supporting the local artists and providing support to aspiring musicians. Each season, we partner with a local artist to create a unique poster design that captures the essence of the brand and the community. Using a vibrant palette inspired by the stage lights and a logo that evokes visual movement, we were able to capture the energy that fills the stage on a Friday night and infuse it throughout the visual identity.

The imaginative stories of the Coppertail and the ironic illustrations bring this brand to life. My role in this project involved direction, design, layout, typesetting, retouching, and final production. Bottle labels, six packs, coasters, hats, t-shirts, and vehicle wraps are just some of the items I helped produce for this new craft brewery.

Experimentation fuels my photography and I cherish the unexpected results different cameras can produce. Composition, texture and color are elements that resonate throughout my photographs. I shoot 35mm film, use lomographic cameras, polaroids, Nikon DSLRs, and of course, my iPhone. All photographs are silver gelatin prints, flatbed scanned negatives, digital photographs or photo manipulations. I have learned that good design often starts with good photography.
My father started Sekas Custom Pools in 2003–around the same time I began doing graphic design. Since its inception I have worked on and off for the family business fulfilling various roles for the company. After further honing my skills as a designer and photographer I have now been entrusted with all of the design, direction, advertising, marketing, photography and website.
Today, Sekas Custom Pools is the premier pool company in the Tampa Bay Area. I can safely say that much of the company’s success can be attributed to the design work I have done. Updated logo, photography, architectural design, website, collateral, apparel, print ads and tchotchkes are just some of what has helped to build this small family business into a highly desirable, professional and reputable brand.

Black and white or full color, massive or miniature, a logo must be impactful, memorable–iconic. I have designed a wide variety of logos, some chosen, some not. Regardless, infusing the client’s personality is also paramount. It is my responsibility to help bring that vision of their brand to life.
Working with a major, multinational company like Majestic meant showcasing imagery of dynamic sports figures & quality athletic wear. Being one of VFC’s biggest brands, Majestic specializes in licensed professional team apparel––I mostly worked on MLB and NFL campaigns.
An earmark of the Majestic brand meant starting with great photo assets of each and every team’s all-star player(s). I produced print ads, digital ads, banners, posters, billboards, packaging, rack-cards, storefront graphics & more. Seeing my work on a billboard outside of Fenway Park or a banner outside Wrigley Field is something I won’t soon forget.

Nearing a hundred years in operation and expansion beyond the Mississippi locale, the Bank of Lucedale needed an update. After adopting a new name and logo, Century Bank came to us with their brand and we only saw it fitting to continue highlighting their enduring heritage. Founded in 1903, this was the same year the Wright Brothers made their first flight, Ford’s Model-T took its first test drive and the first African/American woman chartered a bank in the United States. Inspired by compelling images pulled from the historic archives, we saw an opportunity to catch people’s attention with a legacy-focused campaign; and of course, it only made sense to showcase these old photographs in a [predominantly] print campaign.
While freelancing around the scenic 30A area in the small town of Seaside, local Modica Market has been a benchmark of the community since 1989. Noticing their hand-lettered, butcher paper, signs were faded and in need of a refresh, with the help of ebpaint we designed and inked some replacement window signs. Maintaining the handcrafted charm and upholding the original integrity was the main goal for this project. A true collaborative effort that ended with glowing remarks from the clients, and their customers alike, helped make this a fun experience and created some lifelong friendships.
Increasing tourism in the state of Florida is the central focus of Visit Florida. Newly popular social media platforms allowed Visit Florida to organically reach large audiences. One simple hashtag, #LoveFL, quickly caught on. The increasing quality and quantity of user generated content helps define this brand. Creating shareable graphics, specifically targeted images, timely or trending posts, and beta testing have helped hone the strategy of Share A Little Sunshine. Traditional forms of advertising, coupled with creative content marketing, have produced outstanding results for the Share A Little Sunshine and #LoveFL campaign.

Working with a small team at Trinity Graphics gave me the opportunity and experience to further develop my skills as a well-rounded creative. Capitalizing on the rapidly growing craft beer businesses in the area, I produced customized booklets showcasing the various capabilities of Trinity Graphics. Considering the existing brand of each brewery, I designed, laid out, screen printed and hand-bound one-of-a-kind booklets targeting five different local breweries.
Following the success of the brewery booklets, Trinity Graphics attended the Florida Brewers Guild Craft Beer Festival during Tampa Bay Beer Week. The festival gave us the opportunity to get creative, live screen print, network with clients, and have a great time. I designed and produced updated brewery booklets. The booklets included new prospective work for breweries attending the festival. Promotion through social media, personalized swag bags and other giveaways helped gain us numerous new followers, customers and friends.
Reeves Import Motorcars is known for their longstanding reputation of quality and excellence. Upholding the integrity of the Reeves brand meant designing within their guidelines as well as those set by the various car manufacturers they represent. I helped fulfill their monthly design needs producing trade show materials, banners, billboards, print ads and various digital ads.
Targeting their four most popular brands: Audi, BMW, Volkswagen and Subaru, we produced mobile optimized microsites that enhanced the user experience for the potential car buyer. The sites include original video content, competitor comparisons, testimonials, integrated social media feeds and galleries.

AquaPro Water Systems is a small business specializing in water treatment solutions. Upon learning a large percentage of their sales leads came from their outdated website I offered up my design services. Originally laid out as a simple five page site redesign it gradually turned into a much larger project.
Operating as an ‘authorized dealer’ they had no real marketing assets nor a true sense of an individual, cohesively, branded business. Starting with a simple logo, I not only delivered a clean, clear, mobile-friendly website, but an icon system, photo assets, updated copy and user experience that helped to build a much more [consistent] credible company. Along with the help of Google Ads their engagement and number of sales leads has skyrocketed.
